Jeff Futo is a law enforcement officer with over twenty-five years of experience enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and contributing to community policing initiatives. Throughout his career, he has been involved in major incidents such as structural fires, chemical spills, and active threat situations. He has extensive experience in project coordination, emergency response planning, and developing and delivering training. With decades of experience, Jeff has developed a unique skill set encompassing multiple public safety domains, including policing, security practices, public safety technology, risk assessments, and emergency management. Jeff's expertise extends to behavioral health crisis response, where he coordinates cross-system collaborations at the state level, aiding communities in implementing programs to assist them in behavioral health crisis situations. His dedication to serving others has been recognized through various awards, further highlighting his commitment and impact in the field of public safety.

Dr. Cleveland is a health care leader, attorney, educator, and international speaker with over 30 years of experience building multi -disciplinary teams through the development of cultures of safety, respect, and teamwork across the health care continuum.  She is a trusted consultant for issues related to policy formation and revision, compliance, risk management, executive leadership, and organizational governance.  Dr. Cleveland speaks and publishes regularly.  She is a funded researcher with research contributing to the development and preparation of nurse leaders. She is an active member of many professional organizations. She is currently the Board Chair for the Nurses on Boards Coalition and President-Elect for the American Association of Nurse Attorneys.

As a highly regarded and distinguished professor of twenty-two years, Dr. Vander Horst specializes in juvenile delinquency with a keen focus on youth violence. Dr. Vander Horst brings well over 20 years of experience examining the risk and protective factors for school safety and security, along with evaluating the contributing factors for intervention with school violence. In the role of Field Coordinator for a top-level nationwide, middle school, drug interdiction program, Dr. Vander Horst enjoyed funding by none other than the United States Department of Justice. Dr. Vander Horst has also conducted field prison research for Ohio’s state juvenile prisons (Divisions of Youth Services) which was an at-risk youth interdiction study, funded by the United States Department of Education. Dr. Vander Horst is a leader in safety and crisis interdiction helping an R-1 (top research level) mid-western university develop a course in crisis intervention. Dr Vander Horst’s experience offers clients a unique knowledge base for developing a safety and security plan for your facility. Given Dr. Vander Horst’s extensive skill set, he is the team person needed to help ensure all avenues are properly examined with safety and security in mind.

Mr. Marino brings extensive expertise in the safety and emergency management field, accumulated over nearly a decade of hands-on experience. His background predominantly lies in healthcare and higher education, but he has also shared his expertise with major financial institutions, manufacturing and retail chains, and K-12 institutions through his consulting work.

Vince's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree, along with a range of professional certifications obtained from organizations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), The Center of Domestic Preparedness, and Texas A&M, among others. He specializes in emergency management plan development, Threat Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA), disaster exercise development and implementation, Hospital Emergency Response Team Training (FEMA’s HERT Course for CBRNE), emergency operations center training, and active shooter training.
